What to know about Chandler Creek

  • Round Rock ISD. Double File Trail Elementary sits on Chandler Creek Blvd, linked to the neighborhood by the community trail. Zoned elementary, middle and high schools can change, so confirm any address with the Round Rock ISD school boundaries map.
  • Outside city limits. City of Round Rock maps place Chandler Creek in the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction, so there is no city property tax and the Williamson County Sheriff's Office handles law enforcement. The Meadows at Chandler Creek MUD, created in 1985, built the water, wastewater and drainage systems and also serves the Meadows sections next door.
  • Established homes. County records show most homes between about 1,500 and 2,600 square feet, now 20 to 30 years old, so roof, HVAC and foundation history matter.
  • Same name, different projects. Several condo, medical and industrial projects carry the Chandler Creek name but are separate from the neighborhood; check which one a property belongs to.
