Meet Roberta

Roberta Bair is a Central Texas REALTOR® who believes one of the most important decisions in real estate happens before choosing a house: deciding where you want to live.

Serving Salado, Georgetown, Belton, Harker Heights, Lorena, and communities throughout Central Texas, Roberta brings a particularly deep understanding of military relocation, veterans, and life around Fort Hood. She has been a licensed real estate professional for more than four years, but her experience with relocation began decades earlier as a military spouse.

Roberta’s husband served in the U.S. Army for more than 27 years, and together they navigated the moves, deployments, changing schools, new communities, and transitions that come with military life before retiring in Central Texas. That experience shapes the way she works with clients today. She understands that choosing where to live involves much more than bedrooms, square footage, and price. Commute times, schools, community, lifestyle, access to everyday conveniences, and even having a favorite local coffee shop can affect how someone feels about where they live.

That is why Roberta often starts with the community before the house. She enjoys helping clients understand the differences between Central Texas communities so they can make informed decisions about where they want to put down roots. Her experience includes resale homes, new and custom construction, acreage, relocation, and VA purchases. She is also knowledgeable about VA financing options and programs available to Texas veterans, including the Texas Veterans Land Board.

Education is central to Roberta’s approach. She believes clients should understand not only what is happening during a transaction, but why. She gives clear professional advice, explains the reasoning behind her recommendations, and makes sure her clients have the information they need to make their own decisions. She is highly communicative and a steady advocate for her clients, with a strong belief in doing the right thing even when a transaction becomes complicated.

Roberta holds the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), and Military Relocation Professional (MRP) designations. Her professional involvement extends beyond her own transactions. She serves on the executive board of the Temple-Belton Board of REALTORS® and on Texas REALTORS® committees, giving her an active role in the issues, policies, and industry changes affecting property owners and real estate professionals across Texas.

Before transitioning to real estate full time in 2022, Roberta built a long career in healthcare. A licensed radiologic technologist since 1995, she worked in radiology and mammography at hospitals throughout her husband’s military career, including four years at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood. That background reinforced habits that remain important in her real estate practice: attention to detail, clear communication, responsibility, and the ability to remain focused when the stakes are high.

Roberta’s connection to Central Texas also extends well beyond real estate. She serves on the board of the Salado Chamber of Commerce and remains involved with the Fort Hood Spouses Club, an organization she first joined when her family was stationed in Central Texas in 1998. Community involvement has given her a firsthand view of the growth, businesses, organizations, and people shaping the region.

Salado is home for Roberta and her family. Her youngest son attends Salado High School, and Friday nights often mean Salado football. Sundays frequently bring grandchildren around the dinner table, and when summer arrives, the family’s favorite place to be is on the water at Belton Lake or Lake Travis.

For Roberta, being a local real estate professional means knowing more than what is currently for sale. It means understanding the communities, housing, growth, and opportunities that make Central Texas a place people choose to call home—and helping clients make those decisions with good information, honest advice, and an advocate firmly in their corner.
